Broker/owner Kimberly Allard, who joined the firm in 1999, says the company traces back to the mid-1980s when Patricia Downing founded CENTURY 21 Downing & Associates, becoming CENTURY 21 Professionals in 2000 when Allard became an equal partner — the website puts total time in business at 40 years, while a BBB profile for the same office lists a 2002 LLP registration and 24 years, so the two numbers don't quite line up. There isn't much of a written track record yet — one 2025 Google review and a 2022 Reddit-tracked multifamily sale are what's on file — but what's there is strongly positive. The 2025 review, from a repeat client on her fourth deal with agent Sonia Ng, describes Ng helping sell a Weymouth condo after a slower market made it harder, on top of three earlier condo purchases together. With only a couple of dated data points, it's worth asking for more recent references before committing.
