In July 2025 a customer called CG Family Construction on a Friday night in a panic: a roof leak had been "fixed" twice by another company and was still leaking. The company reached out that same evening, found the issue, fit the job into a busy schedule, and the crew finished with a walk-through for debris and a final leak test. CG Family Construction is a Burlington, Vermont roofer holding 4.9 stars from 45 Google ratings, and its Vermont residential contractor registration (174.0000517) is active. In a July 2024 review, a customer described an old slate roof replaced with shingles in one day, with everything cleaned up afterward. A June 2024 review from Windsor, VT describes a 200-year-old roof done in two days: the rusty steel roof came off, the original wood shingles were stripped to the barn boards, and sheathing, flashing and the shingle job followed. In March 2025 a customer wrote that the company had done a shingle roof and rotted wood over a porch at one property and multiple rubber membrane roofs at another, and that Rone documented all work completed with photos. In July 2026 a customer said the crew replaced their Dad's roof and finished ahead of schedule, and in October 2026 a customer thanked the company for addressing wind damage to the roof and fascia. In a June 2025 review, a customer wrote that before replacing the roof, Rone explained step by step what was going to happen and why. An August 2026 customer called the communication excellent and the pricing reasonable and fair. In October 2025 a customer called the work professional, fast and fair-priced but still found 27 nails in the grass with a magnet after the cleanup. In August 2025 a customer gave two stars with the words "Gutter leaks." The company's website offers free estimates and 24/7 emergency service.
