“Split rock restoration, or stewardship slate.”
I highly recommend Grant/Split Rock Restoration. Grant is extremely responsive and a great communicator--he took the time to explain everything carefully and answer all my new-to-slate questions. He is extremely thorough and professional, and it's obvious that he takes a great deal of pride in his work and in his word. I will without question rely on Grant for maintenance and bigger repairs for as long as I have a slate roof!
Grant did an extensive restoration of our slate/copper roof for our 1899 Victorian that is under historic preservation. Done in 2 phases over 2 summers, the job is absolutely superb. Grant and his apprentice Adam showed up when they were supposed to, worked hard, and completed the work on time and within the proposed budget. They are friendly and responsible. I can't really recommend Split Rock highly enough. They are artisan roofers and hard workers. Very satisfied customer here!
After trying a few other companies in recent years I'm glad I finally found Grant and Split Rock to entrust with my roof from now on - the quality of the work was excellent, and equally important Grant was a great communicator throughout and was reliable, on time, and under the estimated budget. Highly recommend!
Excellent repair and preventative maintenance of our slate roof. We had a skylight leak and Grant worked us into his busy schedule to take care of the issue, restore the integrity of the underlying structure, and replace the damaged fascia. He was communicative, professional, and stayed in budget. Recommend without hesitation!
