The company says it has been in business 31 years, and it states that it requires a down payment for materials at the start of a job. A recent customer says roofs K2 put on about 15 years ago are now being replaced, after the shingles leaked and blew off for maybe 10 of those years. That customer says the young crew he was using didn't peel off the strips that let the adhesive secure the shingles. The same customer says shingles on their work property deteriorated in less than 5 years, that his excuse was defective shingles, and that he wouldn't help with contacting the company or replacing them at a reduced rate. A 2024 customer said they were having issues with a roof K2 did and couldn't get a response to phone calls. A 2023 customer said Mark and his crew finished a slate roof repair that customer couldn't trust a previous slate roof contractor to finish. On Google, K2 shows 2.3 stars from 3 ratings.
We are in the process of getting roofs replaced that were done by K2 that should have lasted another decade at least. The shingles have been leaking and blowing off for maybe 10 of the about 15 years they’ve been up. It turns out the young crew he was using didn’t even peel off the strips in order for the adhesive to help secure them. He did our work property for us around the same time. Those shingles deteriorated in less than 5 years. His excuse was the shingles were defective. He wouldn’t offer any help with contacting the company or at least replacing them at a reduced rate. We paid him full price to do it over. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Mark and his team are great: responsive, reliable and providing high quality work. I contacted them to finish slate roof repair I couldn't trust my previous slate roof contractor to finish. Mark and his crew finished the job; and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I highly recommend this team!
