Champion Tree Work

Tree removal followed by a cleaned-up yard is what several recent Champion Tree Work customers describe. The company says it is family-owned, based in Yarmouth Port, and has provided tree services around Harwich and Cape Cod for 15 years. Its stated service area includes Brewster, Dennis, Yarmouth, Harwich and Plymouth, and its offerings include tree removal, trimming, stump grinding, land clearing and bobcat services. A customer writing in June 2026 described calling early on a Friday and receiving an in-person quote from Gabriel within the hour. After confirmation, multiple crews arrived, removed a tree, ground multiple stumps and cleared brush piles; the customer said the work took a few hours. A separate June reviewer praised punctuality, pricing and cleanup after removal of a large tree. Another June customer who worked with John praised his responsiveness and fair pricing. Those accounts describe different jobs and people. The work also includes smaller removals. A July 2026 Thumbtack customer described a rhododendron root being removed and the area raked level and clear of debris, with the crew arriving on the promised day. In August, a Google reviewer praised a quick response and the clearing of trees and brush. Google displayed 4.9 stars from 57 ratings in September 2026; Thumbtack displayed 4.7 stars from 57 ratings in August. Older customers described work near buildings and other property. In a March 2026 review, a customer said Champion handled a storm-split limb hanging over a neighbor's roof, did preventative pruning and completed the job in an hour without damaging plants, a fence or a mailbox. A November 2024 reviewer described seven pitch pines being removed; a fence piece cracked, and the customer said the crew replaced it that day. In a September 2022 review, another customer said trimming around an awning and backyard pool caused no damage. A February 2023 Google reviewer reported poor responsiveness, missed agreed arrival times and an unannounced visit shortly after 7 a.m. at their mother's home. They also described difficulty communicating in English with the crew and criticized the owner's management, while calling the value good. That customer said they would not use the business again.
