A pine tree on a house roof brought one customer to Richards Tree Service. An April 2026 customer identifies the business as being in Hyannis and describes Steven's team handling a difficult tree and limb removal. After comparing prices with several companies, the customer says Richards charged fair rates, arrived on time and cleaned up thoroughly. Google reports a 4.6-star average from 16 ratings. A separate May 2022 customer describes a very large tree that had split during a nor'easter. Their arborist said the whole tree needed removal, and its position near power lines complicated the work. The customer says Stephen returned calls promptly, explained when he could schedule the job and had a crew that cleared the leaves and chips from the lawn. In a January 2022 review, another customer says Steven came the day after their call, quoted a price without pressuring them or trying to upsell, and sent insurance information immediately. After being hired, the team came the next day, removed the trees and cleaned up. A March 2023 reviewer describes five large trees removed and many others pruned, with bushes temporarily removed and replanted to protect them. In September 2023, a customer who hired Steven Richards to trim trees at their sister's home says the crew cleared limbs away from the roof.
