Checkmate Exterminators is a pest control business that says it has been family owned and operated since 1985, helping homeowners, second home and camp owners, property management companies and business owners control ants, rodents, cluster flies and earwigs. Its stated service area includes Ludlow, Killington, Starksboro, Middlebury, Waitsfield and Warren, among other towns, and the company says it offers free estimates. A recent Google customer with an ant problem said their phone call was returned promptly, he came out the very next day and sprayed for ants, and a week later they had not seen an ant in days. That customer also called the price very reasonable. A 2025 Google customer called Andy helpful, responsive and knowledgeable.
We had a bit of an ant problem and our phone call was returned promptly. He came out the very next day and sprayed for ants. It's been a week and we haven't seen an ant in days. Would highly recommend. Price was very reasonable too.
Andy is very helpful, responsive and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Checkmate.
