Chris Barger Masonry works out of Mashpee, and what is publicly known about it comes from one recommendation — but a recommendation with some weight behind it. In a July 2026 r/CapeCod thread asking for hardscaping contractors, a homeowner said Barger Masonry had done a lot of work for them over more than fifteen years, cobblestone borders among it, and called the company reasonable on price and good at the work. That is a long relationship rather than a one-off job, which is the more useful kind of endorsement. Beyond that, there is nothing written: no reviews on the directories, no permit history on file. For cobblestone edging, walls and similar mid-Cape masonry, this is a name worth calling for a quote alongside one or two others. Masonry is a trade you can inspect with your own eyes, so ask for two nearby jobs you can go and look at, and get the stone type and the scope written into the quote.
