Angi puts it at 4.4 across 47 ratings, Google at 4 stars from four, Houzz at five from a single review. Read the write-ups themselves — they run 2013 to 2015 on Angi — and one theme repeats: price. Customers wrote that they had collected quotes from small and large fence companies and none came in under his, and several described a fast callback, an estimate within days, and a crew that stayed on site until the fence was finished. A Houzz reviewer in September 2020 said the patio Chris built about 22 years earlier still looked good, and that he had been back only once, after a windstorm took down a couple of panels. The other half is harder. The complaints cluster on schedule and follow-through rather than the fence itself, so put start and completion dates in the contract and agree what happens if the crew doesn't appear. And the written history stops in September 2020 — six years of quiet, with nothing newer to say whether that pattern held or changed. Angi flags the profile as "This pro is under review." For a straightforward wood, vinyl or chain link install where price matters more than a firm calendar, the older accounts make a reasonable case for a quote. If your job carries a deadline — a pool that has to be enclosed, a closing date — nail down the schedule and completion terms first.
