Eight permits over sixteen years, and the pattern is the building envelope: in August 2024 Christopher A Palazzola Construction pulled a $46,000 Wakefield permit for vinyl siding, eleven windows and two storm doors. A year earlier, a $42,350 front facade replacement in Burlington. Back in 2017, siding, replacement windows and a front-porch repair in Manchester. The Gloucester outfit works out of 594 Washington Street under Chris and James Palazzola, and BuildZoom files it with the town's general contractors — fair enough, given the range. Interior work shows up too: a master bathroom rebuilt in Danvers in 2018, and a dentist's office fitted out in 2020, three chairs and cabinetry included. Nahant homeowners have hired them before. Two permits at 20 Pearl Rd in March 2010 — a kitchen remodel with the rear deck taken off and rebuilt, and a garage demolished and put back on the same footprint. Nobody has written a review. BuildZoom carries none, which leaves the permit trail as the only thing to read them by. On paper: BuildZoom lists two active Massachusetts home improvement contractor registrations, #209736 and #199727, and a construction supervisor licence, #CS-064233, each of which it says it found active during 2026. It also lists three older HIC numbers it marks inactive or cancelled. That is BuildZoom's own listing rather than a registry check, so ask which registration is current and confirm it with Consumer Affairs. A reasonable call for siding, windows or facade work, where the recent jobs actually are. Ask for two references from the past couple of years before you commit.
