We just completed an attic bathroom buildout and bedroom renovation project with T&C Construction in our extended family home in Gloucester. We had worked with T&C Construction in 2025 on a last-minute crumbling interior wall project, and then decided to hire them for this bigger project in 2026. From the outset, the owner Tom Velasquez and his crew of workers and subcontractors provided excellent service, high quality construction and recommendations, and continuous updates throughout the project. As a general contractor, Tom really takes the time to understand all the issues well and then executes perfectly. He is hands-on in his approach which is great and helpful to determining the best way to proceed and also how to work with the many city inspections involved. Our house is an older beloved generational home that is shared by many, and Tom was extremely patient working with a few of us at a time, and always with a positive approach. He ended up recommending a super-fast and excellent CAD designer who helped to get us through to the final design concept, which can be tricky with a lot of cooks in the kitchen. There were of course a number of unexpected issues that emerged during the buildout process, and we heard from Tom immediately with proposals and then solutions. Having run other house remodels with various general contractors, I would give Tom our highest rating. He is relaxed, confident, and will work to achieve the vision of his customers without any guff, and always leading with kindness and clarity. Hire him today—best decision ever!
