Keith Alves contractor/Builder

Keith Alves Contractor/Builder is a Gloucester carpentry and construction company run by Keith Alves, a master carpenter who apprenticed locally after Gloucester Vocational Technical School before starting the business more than 25 years ago. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, and the small crew — Keith, a foreman, and an apprentice — takes on residential and light commercial work: new construction, additions, kitchen and bath remodels, decks and porches, and custom carpentry. All three reviews on file are from December 2025 and all five stars. One describes new windows and a door installed with craftsmanship the customer trusted enough to already plan a larger renovation with Keith next. Another describes deck repairs at a restaurant finished fast and clean. A third simply praises quality work from a contractor who listens to clients. The written record here is short, so for a bigger renovation it's worth asking to see recent, finished work directly — but the consistency of the praise, plus 25 years in business and an active state registration, are solid signs for a Gloucester-area carpentry or construction project.
