Sixteen permits and not one review — Christopher R Caruso's record is entirely in town building departments, and it is a varied one. He worked two Marblehead jobs in October 2023: replacing ten windows, two doors and one side of siding at 82 Bubier Rd, and stripping and rebuilding a rubber roof with composite decking over an attached garage on Bradlee Rd. The bigger work sits inland and up the coast. A $325,000 job at a single-family house in Manchester rebuilt three bathrooms and a kitchen and added onto the rear, in two phases starting with demolition. An earlier Manchester renovation covered a kitchen, a bathroom and a mudroom at $135,000, and a Tewksbury interior renovation was filed at $597,579. He also files smaller exterior work — decks in Peabody and Arlington, whole-house composite trim replacement in Beverly. What he does is not one trade. Windows, siding, roofing, decks, kitchens, bathrooms and additions all appear, along with occasional small commercial fit-outs — a suspended ceiling in a Beverly hair salon, a glass partition in an office suite. BuildZoom lists construction supervisor licence CS-073854 for him and says it verified that number active in July 2026. It also lists a second construction supervisor number, CS-101418, marked inactive and at one point cancelled — while its own summary text reports both numbers as active. That is the directory contradicting itself, and worth asking about directly. The gap here is homeowner accounts. BuildZoom says outright it has received no reviews, and nothing else about him surfaced anywhere. If you are considering him for a Marblehead exterior or a full renovation, ask for references from the Bubier Road or Manchester jobs and confirm which construction supervisor licence is current with the Department of Public Safety.
