What it sells goes well past a paintbrush: interior and exterior painting, plus electro-sealing for roofs, power washing and re-sealing of decks and cedar shingles, wallpapering, paint and graffiti stripping, gutter clean-outs and gutter-guard installation, and bathtub re-glazing. It describes itself as EPA lead certified, which is worth confirming on any pre-1978 house. There is a commercial side as well. A former general manager's LinkedIn profile describes overseeing a 620-unit interior and exterior renovation at 1000 Southern Artery in Quincy for Ellisdale Construction during his time at the company - one person's account of his own job history, not a customer's. Pin down two things before hiring. First, what sits behind that 2.7: ask directly about recent jobs that did not go well. Second, which address is current, since the BBB lists 60 Elliot Avenue and Porch lists 158 Arlington Street. The tenure claims differ too - the BBB dates the business to 2010, while the Porch page claims more than 20 years of experience. Right call for: exterior restoration around Quincy - decks, cedar shingles, gutters, a roof coating - where the range of services is the draw. Ask for recent addresses you can drive past, because the only written customer account on file dates to 2019.
