Read Clear Choice's newest reviews and one thing stands out before anything else: a great many of the five-star ones were written the day the salesperson visited, before a tool came out of a van. "Excited for my renovation." "Can't wait to get this done." "Signed the contract the same day." Those are reviews of a presentation, not of a bathroom. The Manchester company sells and installs bath and shower conversions, roofing, windows, siding and gutters, and it does so at volume — 623 written reviews since 2021, 223 of them in the last six months. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, 181020, is active. The Better Business Bureau grades it A with two complaints on file and lists it as an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor. Across platforms it runs 4.5 on Google's 889 ratings, 4.8 on HomeAdvisor's 754 and 4.2 on Porch's 980. When an install goes to plan, customers describe it in detail. A February 2024 reviewer wrote that a twelve-hour tub-to-shower conversion was promised and delivered, then deliberately waited a few weeks before posting to confirm it was holding up. In a 2023 review, installers named Jose and Edgar did the same conversion in twelve hours and carried the old debris away. Another 2023 customer had fifteen windows and a French door swapped for a slider inside one day. A 2024 Angi reviewer's roof went on in a day, with the crew raking the yard for nails and a stated policy of paying for a tire if one turns up in it. And a December 2025 window customer who admitted being nervous about the install reviews reported the job landing on time, with two small defects corrected quickly after they emailed photographs. The other half of what customers have written is where the caution belongs, and it is consistent about what goes wrong. An Angi reviewer in May 2026 described a walk-in shower that became an eight-month project with delays, property damage and workmanship they called unacceptable. Another in March 2025 waited thirteen weeks for what sales had described as a one-day job and said it was never finished. A third in July 2025 said they were oversold on what the company could deliver. A Google reviewer in July 2026, a repeat customer across several projects, wrote that the company went silent for months once something went wrong after an install, despite the warranty they had been sold. Two others describe money: a $440 deposit not returned inside the three-day cancellation window in a 2022 review, and a January 2025 customer who says a down payment was taken and never followed up on. Pricing draws its own complaint. A February 2024 reviewer was shown $18,000, told a manager could bring it to $15,000, and then received a written estimate for $22,000. A separate 2025 reviewer says the company would not send anyone out at all unless both spouses were home. Against that, a Reddit commenter in a July 2025 Nashua thread recommended them for a bathroom remodel and said they stood behind their product when an issue came up. Get the scope, the price and a completion date into one written document before signing anything at the kitchen table — and when you read the reviews, note that a five-star review written on the day of the sales visit is not yet a review of the work.
“We used ClearChoice out of Manchester, they did an excellent job. They’ve also stood behind their product when we had an issue. I can give you a contact, if you like, just PM me”
“Clear Choice Home Improvements has announced that Lisa and Peter Bissonnette of Manchester are the lucky winners of the Clear Choice Home Improvements $10,000 Home Makeover Giveaway.”
Nick was great...everything we needed to know to make a decision.
Very helpful. Very informative. Claude is a very no nonsense kind consultant. Very professional
Felicia from Clear Choice proved very helpful on my requirements to demolish and replace a Jacuzzi/Bathtub. New walk in shower to be installed. Will update on the work when completed with review and before and after photos.
Kevin came out today for a new shower quote. Very professional and listened to my exact needs. Kevin gave me several options that best fit what I was looking for and I can’t wait to get started. If your looking for a company that listens and doesn’t try to upsell , don’t wait any longer!
We had used Clear Choice to replace the windows in our previous home and had a very positive experience. Our heating bill improved dramatically. Having moved into a new home we asked them to return and prepare a new quote for us. Erin was very through examining our old windows, reviewing which ones needed replacement and showing us the options to keep within our budget. Very pleased with her and Clear Choice
