CMC Home Repairs

CMC Home Repairs is an owner-operated handyman and home-repair business based in Weymouth, Massachusetts, serving the South Shore towns of Weymouth, Rockland, Hingham, Hanover, Norwell, Cohasset, Pembroke, Braintree, Scituate, Quincy, Holbrook and Hull. Owner James Bocock, who spent 20 years as a professional actor before founding the company, named it after his daughter and runs it as a single-employee operation. Across 23 reviews on Angi, HomeAdvisor and BuildZoom, every rating on file is five stars. Fence repair and replacement recurs most often -- one homeowner had three sections of stockade fence removed and replaced, and another had a fence repaired and a new gate built after James quoted the job the same day he was called. Floor work also comes up repeatedly, including re-installing loose transition strips between tile and wood flooring for two different customers. Other jobs described include repairing a pair of couches, hanging shelves and installing a peephole and new backsplash in one visit, painting a child's bedroom, and retrofitting a thrifted mantel over an existing fireplace. CMC Home Repairs LLC holds an active Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor license, #211093. The company's own site also lists assisted-living accessibility modifications among the work it takes on, alongside general repairs, carpentry, drywall, tiling and painting. CMC Home Repairs looks like a good fit for Weymouth and South Shore homeowners with a fence, floor, or small repair job who want a single point of contact from quote to finish.
