That July 2026 Google review ends with Don arriving within the hour and the AC blowing cold within 30 mins, and it is a fair sample of what people call CMS Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling for. The Wilmington company says it was founded in 1976 by Chuck Mulik as Chuck's Mechanical Service and is still family-owned, now led by his son Dave. It holds 4.9 stars from 550 ratings on Google. Customers describe technicians who explain before they work. In an April 2026 review, a homeowner with a broken boiler said Drew laid out what to do now, what would be smart to do sooner, what would be nice but isn't necessary, and what he wouldn't recommend. A July 2026 reviewer said Chris explained that a leaking pressure relief valve was likely doing its job because their water pressure is very high. A June 2026 customer had a Mitsubishi heat pump installed and the water heater replaced with a hybrid heat pump water heater over a week-long job. Installed ac/ heat pump system in 2nd floor. All employees were very professional. Work was performed on time as promised. Cleaned up after work was completed . Great job well done!!!!!
