AMG Plumbing and Heating

AMG Plumbing and Heating is a family-run, father-and-son plumbing and heating shop serving Massachusetts homes — repairs, installations, water heaters, boilers, and emergency calls. The company says it grew out of more than 25 years of hands-on plumbing trade experience, and reviewers most often name two of its technicians, Alejandro and Melqui. The specifics reviewers describe skew toward fast, accurate diagnosis. In a June 2025 review, a homeowner said several other plumbers couldn't figure out a boiler problem — one even suggested replacing the whole unit — before AMG found the actual issue. A May 2025 review described a sump pump that failed on a weekend; AMG arrived within a few hours and diagnosed the problem on the spot. A November 2025 review described a leaky toilet in an old house fixed fast, after the plumbing had been "quite the gamble" before AMG came out. More recently, an April 2026 review said the same client has used AMG for years and called Melqui's work responsive and reliable, and a June 2026 review credited Alejandro with figuring out a shower problem and explaining the fix in the same visit. Pricing comes up too — several reviewers call the rates fair or reasonable, including a June 2026 review from a customer who checked a competing quote and found AMG a couple hundred dollars cheaper for a new toilet. This is a strong call for both routine plumbing and heating work and true emergencies — several reviewers describe a fast response after a failed sump pump, a stuck boiler, or a leak. Confirm the job scope and price up front, and ask about licensing directly before booking.
