Compass Painting

Kitchen cabinets are a frequent reason customers hire Compass Painting. One May 2026 customer had wood-finished cabinets painted white and described a finish that looked factory-made, along with reasonable pricing and responsive communication. A July 2026 customer had hired Ivan for exterior, interior and cabinet painting, then most recently for board-and-batten installation and bedroom painting. That customer praised punctuality and answers to questions. Compass says it is a family-owned Hyannis company started on Cape Cod in 2009 by Ivan Junior, also identified as Ivan Lima, and Leandro. Its website describes a crew of more than ten and a service area covering Cape Cod, Plymouth and Duxbury. Alongside house painting and cabinet refinishing, the company advertises pressure washing and soft washing. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration 217100 is active under Compass Home Group Inc. Customers describe preparation and samples as part of cabinet work. In November 2025, a homeowner said Ivan listened to their preferences and brought samples before the crew began. They praised protection of the kitchen during painting and said promises were fulfilled. Richard, writing in March 2024, described Ivan explaining the process, providing a quote at the visit and then supplying a painted sample so he could see how his grainy oak cabinets would look. Richard praised the crew’s work and said the project took a relatively short time. A February 2024 customer who refinished 23-year-old oak cabinets described covering and taping everything off and an explanation of the process from start to finish. In October 2021, another customer described the crew protecting the room to spray cabinet bases while taking the doors offsite for painting. A March 2025 customer said the crew repaired and painted kitchen cabinets and worked tidily. The work also includes whole-room and exterior projects. In November 2023, a homeowner described repainting the kitchen cabinets and the entire interior of their house. A May 2023 Harwich customer said Ivan had refinished bath vanities and cabinet doors and painted their home, deck and fence. In November 2023, another customer praised cabinet refinishing and a tile backsplash completed on time. An April 2026 customer described the crew as efficient and clean.
