The company's own website says that after 50 years, Continental Engineering has made the decision to close its doors due to unforeseen circumstances. On Google it holds a 3.4-star rating from 74 ratings. A recent customer whose Lennox air conditioner failed after 24 years went back to Continental Engineering, the company that had installed that unit 24 years earlier. That customer said Richard DiRocco gave a reasonable estimate and described how the unit on the third floor could be accessed and removed. The same customer wrote that Roger and two assistants installed the new units and put cloth over the stairs before removing the original unit. A recent customer wrote that the team, with Dave as manager, finished the entire replacement of their air conditioning system, including testing, in less than eight hours and cleaned up after. A customer who had recently purchased a home in Lincoln said they were referred to Continental for duct work and annual service on two-zone HVAC systems, and that technician Brenden explained the system and made recommendations on keeping the units working. A recent customer said they were completely happy with their install and follow up. A recent 1-star reviewer advised against doing business with the company, writing that if an issue arises, expect to wait for the owner to get involved, and that management seems incapable of handling disputes professionally.
Cannot conduct business in a professionally mature manner. I would strongly advise against doing business with them. If an issue arises, expect to wait for the owner to get involved, as management seems incapable of handling disputes professionally or appropriately.
Your team with Dave as manager was very professional, knowledgeable and hardworking. They cleaned up after and finished the entire replacement of our air conditioning system including testing everything in less than eight hours. Thanks again to your entire team. Regards, Leon
This summer, after 24 years of good service, our Lennox air conditioner unit failed. We asked representatives from several local companies to evaluate the situation, make recommendations, and submit an estimate to replace the unit. Almost all the representatives that contacted us noted that a failed compressor was the problem Another problem was that our unit was located beneath the roof in a third-floor attic. We decided to go with Continental Engineering, the same company that installed our unit 24 years ago. While each of the representatives was knowledgeable and courteous, it was Richard DiRocco from Continental Engineering that impressed us the most. Not only did he give us a reasonable estimate, but he also described how that unit on the third floor could be accessed and removed. Our min contact was Pam in the main office who made all the arrangements. When the day for the new units arrived, Roger and two assistants installed the new units. They were amazing. Before they removed the original unit, they put cloth over the stairs and other areas where they would be working. Everyone we dealt with at Continental was informative, helpful, and very professional. We look forward to many more years of comfort with our new unit.
Recently purchased a home in Lincoln and I was referred to Continental for some duct work and annual service on my two zone HVAC systems. The team there was fantastic and the Technician, Brenden, went over the top to explain the system and made some great recommendations on keeping the units working well for years..Highly recommended HVAVC company.
Completely happy with my install and follow up.
