A day earlier, in a Brockton thread, another neighbor passed along his number and said he is the guy you should call and that he will treat you right. Both were neighbors answering someone else's question rather than reviews the business collected, which is the kind of recommendation that tends to mean something — but it is two posts from one December week, not a long public history. If you are in Braintree, Brockton or the towns between them and you like hiring on a neighbor's say-so, this is a name worth a call. Ask for the Massachusetts plumbing licence number and proof of insurance when you ring, and pin down the price before the work starts, as you would with any plumber you have not used before.
