Cozy Home Performance describes itself on the Better Business Bureau as a full service building envelope and insulation contractor for commercial, institutional, residential and multi-family buildings. Its website describes closed cell spray foam and retrofit insulation services and says it has been in business 20 years. Its home improvement contractor registration, 162770, is active on the state registry under COZY HOME PERFORMANCE, LLC. A 2026 post on umass.edu says Cozy Home Performance installed insulation in the roof, rim joists and basement walls, after which a blower door test was conducted. In a 2026 review, a customer said Mark kept them informed by email and text about the proposal, the schedule and the work status, and said they could feel a difference in the cold air coming in around the perimeter of their house and barn. In a 2025 review, a customer said that after the inspection Johnny and Domanique made them aware of cracks in their attic. In another 2025 review, a customer said Mark helped figure out the right approach for their old home and called the estimates fair, honest and accurate. In a 2024 review, a customer said Cozy Home had helped with multiple insulation and air quality improvement projects in their early 1900's home. In a 2020 review, a customer said Mark Lantz performed an energy audit and advocated for them with MassSave. That 2020 customer said revisions to the re-insulation work were made as required when a few "surprises" were discovered in poorly accessible areas.

Mark and his team were excellent to work with. Mark is an good communicator, keeping up with email and text to keep me informed about the proposal, the schedule and the work status. His team where so nice and upbeat about all the small things that they need to do to make the work successful. Finally, I do feel a difference in the cold air coming in around the perimeter of our house and barn.
10/10 . Cozy Homes ensured my family and I were comfortable in our homes. After the inspection Johnny and Domanique made me aware of the cracks I had in my home attic and how money was just pouring out of these cracks not holding air into my home. These guys and this company go above and beyond and don’t cut corners like some companies do. Highly recommend.
Can’t say enough good things about Mark, his crew, and the work they do. Great communication from planning to execution, fair and honest and accurate estimates, and most of all, amazing work. Our old home required putting some thought into the project and Mark really helped figure out the right approach. We’re done with the first stage of two (completing upper level in the fall) and I can’t wait to see the significant difference once we’re totally done!
Mark and his crew are incredibly caring and skilled in their work. From the depth of the consult about options to the quality of the execution and clean-up, they are first-rate. Cozy Home has helped us with multiple insulation and air quality improvement projects in our early 1900's home. Highly recommended!
Outstanding comprehensive Energy Audit performed by Mark Lantz. Our property is a confusing, crazy patchwork of old and new, basements and crawlspaces, with several disconnected, hard to access attics. He successfully advocated for us with MassSave and we received huge benefits under their program. The extensive re-insulation work was done by a top notch crew and reviews and revisions were made intelligently as required when a few "surprises" were discovered in poorly accessible areas. This was a huge and complex job that was expertly handled from start to finish. We can't recommend this company highly enough!
