Cran-marsh General Contracting

Cran-Marsh General Contracting is a family-owned roofing company based in Middleborough, MA, working across southeastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod — the company says it's been in the trade since 1982, offering roofing along with siding, windows, doors, decks, skylights and gutters. Its handful of reviews are positive and specific: a 2018 review describes a church roof replacement in Carver and says the customer would hire them again for future work, and two 2024 reviews describe a new roof installed at a great price with a responsive crew, thanking the owner, Tim, by name. The company holds a Massachusetts Construction Supervisor license, #CS-066819, which BuildZoom lists for the company, alongside manufacturer certifications including GAF Master Elite and CertainTeed ShingleMaster. BBB gives it an A+ rating, though the same BBB page notes the business is not an accredited BBB member — a rating and accredited-member status are two different things there. How long the company has actually been operating isn't consistent across its own materials, with 1982, 'over 40 years,' 'over 50 years' and a 1972 founding date all appearing in different places — worth asking about directly. This looks like a solid call for a roofing job around Middleborough and the Cape, backed by a licensed supervisor and manufacturer-certified installers. The company's site says it offers free estimates, so get one in writing and confirm current licensing before signing on.
