A retired veteran on a limited income wrote in 2016 that Arthur repaired and replaced a set of brick entryway steps for about half his original estimate, and refused to take any more when the structure turned out to be in worse condition than it first appeared. That 2016 customer said Arthur came within the hour of a phone call to assess the job, began work the next morning, and the job was finished in a couple of days. A 2016 customer said they worked non stop on many projects inside and outside the house, left no mess at the end, and ran out to help with an emergency without being asked. A 2016 customer said they were easy to work with and kept that customer informed as the work progressed. A 2016 customer said he was professional but would have liked the job a little cheaper. A 2016 customer called the work shoddy, asking why the roof was pieced together and saying the colors should match: the front of the house is black and the rest grey.
He was totally professional, I had a good experience. I think I would have liked the job a little cheaper but it was a great experience.
I think they work was shoddy, why did they piece the roof together? They should match colors. The front of my house is black and the rest of the house is grey.
Arthur's response through Home Advisor was immediate. After speaking on the phone, he was here within the hour to assess the job, and began work the next morning. The job--repair/replacement of brick entryway steps--was finished in a couple days. Since I'm a service veteran and retired on limited income, Arthur did the job for about half his original estimate, and though the structure was in worse condition than it first appeared, he refused to take any more for the extra work they had to do. They did an excellent job and were very professional. I would recommend them for any carpentry/masonry work needed. extra for it. I really appreciate the work they did and was very impressed with their professionalism. I would heartily recommend them for any carpentry/masonry work project.
very responsive and professional
