Crane Hill Contracting

In a July 2025 Google review, a customer wrote that they asked Crane Hill Contracting to build an MX track on flat property, and Ben came with the right machinery and built over an acre of whoops, jumps, berms and straights. The Willimantic, Connecticut company says it specializes in excavation and forestry mulching, and its site lists towns including Mansfield, Bolton, Columbia, Coventry, Glastonbury, Hebron and Tolland. Google shows it at 5 stars from 7 ratings. In July 2025 another customer hired the company for a foundation excavation and wrote that Ben offered helpful suggestions about things they had not anticipated and finished the excavation in a timely manner. A 2022 customer with a very long driveway in terrible condition reached Ben, who came out within a day, gave multiple quotes, walked through what he would do and when, and had the regrade done in less than a week from first contact; the customer called the prices fair and noted he brought the garbage cans up from the curb after the site was cleaned. In a June 2025 review, a landowner described meadow edges grown in with Russian Olive, bittersweet, multiflora rose, grape vines and poison ivy about 15 feet tall. Tim from Crane Hill ground it all up in 2 days, matching the company's 2-day estimate, and the customer wrote that Tim has over 10 years of experience with the mulching equipment. In May 2026 a customer wrote that Ben and Tim cleared out overgrown back corrals and were careful to watch the dog fence wiring while churning the ground.
