Creative Design Carpentry is a Swampscott shop run by Glendon Soares and Sabato Pagliuca, built around architectural woodwork — custom stairs, classic restorations, and finish carpentry for kitchens and bathrooms, per its Houzz listing. BuildZoom lists an active Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration (#180984) for the company, alongside two older registrations under different numbers that are now inactive. BuildZoom's permit records show two projects: a $110,000 siding replacement in Somerville in 2016, and a $23,800 kitchen remodel with cabinet and counter replacement in Malden in 2022. BuildZoom scores the company 93, in the top 27% of Massachusetts contractors it tracks. The permits and licensing on file are what's verifiable for now — worth asking to see photos of finished stairs or custom woodwork directly, since that's the specialty its listing highlights.
