Up to 2020 we had done extensive remodeling on our home. Looking to remodel our kitchen we shopped HD and Lowes for Cabinets, nothing compared to the quality we were looking for. I called our civil engineer who developed plans and reeived approvals for exstensive yard modifications. He referred us to an architect who then referred us to Melissa at Crown Point Claremont, NH. We signed a contract and moved forward, when the cabinets were delivered we had a new baby girl. We stored the cabinets for five years. Finally 2026 we moved forward. New wood floors all new appliances and a complete rip out. The floor plan and layout supplied by Crown Point was like following a GPS guide. Our carpenter moved fuidly and precisely during the entire process. He commented that these cabinets are Top of the Line quality and the labeling of all the units made the process look easy. Check out HD and Lowes, then call Melissa at Crown Point. You will be happy you did!
Let me be perfectly clear, Crown Point makes excellent cabinets. In my case, there was an issues of drawer clearance, which was corrected when brought to the attention of the company owner, who was most accommodating. On the other hand, and in hindsight, the kitchen designer from Crown Point (who designed the layout of the cabinets) did not have the capability to design for my small kitchen - something I realized only after the fact. My point is this: If you use Crown Point, make sure you use your own designer, one not associated with Crown Point and one that has your best interest in mind and not that of the cabinet maker.
I was just recently made aware by my Bank of a fraudulent purchase from this company when I called them to make them aware that a scammer was using thier place of business and banking system to commit fraud, the lady I spoke to was quick to dismiss the issue as "not our problem" and when I asked to speak with someone else she quickly hung up on me. It is said I have to actually put a star rating cause they dont even deserve the 1 star I just left
Beautiful cabinetry, but delivery coordination issues abound. You are better off getting a local cabinetmaker to make your premium cabinets. The process will go much smoother.
Purchased custom built (all walnut) cabinets ( their high end line) for my kitchen at a cost of $23,000. At the same time my brother had Rhutt cabinets installed in his kitchen (also a custom job). I was able to compare the quality and workmanship of both and I will tell you that the Crown Point cabinets leave much to be desired and at comparable prices take a back seat to Rhutt cabinetry. My biggest complaint Is the drawer and door tolerances on the Crown Point cabinets. The spacing between the frame and drawers/doors is too wide and gives the cabinets a “sloppy appearance.” Even after proper adjusting, the gaps are still too wide. Overall all, when you spend over 20k on custom cabinetry you expect a certain degree of precision and attention to detail. Unfortunately, Crown Point fell short on both counts and I cannot recommend them as a high end custom cabinet maker..
