Jason and Shannon from Crown Point Heating And Cooling are absolutely amazing! 5 stars isn’t enough to capture their level of professionalism, kindness, and thoroughness. As first time home buyers, we are learning the ropes of how everything in our home works, and Jason took his time to explain how the furnace works, showed us the different water shutoffs, and took a look at our water lines while he was there to give us peace of mind and a greater understanding of all the different components that make everything in our home work. He also came back to our house after he had already left from servicing the furnace when we called about the transformer box making noise. He quickly turned around and was happy to loosen it a bit and make it quieter. Shannon has been quick to reply with support and kindness in answering any questions we have with their professional opinion. Both Jason and Shannon are genuine, kind people who care greatly for those they work with which is evident through every interaction. We can’t thank them enough for all that they do and will work with them for all the years to come!
There are few companies around that are truly 24 hrs... This is one of them. On one of the coldest nights of the year I had a problem, he was there within 90 minutes. He was able to diagnose the issue and supply space heaters to get us through until morning (which was when he could get the part needed to fix the issue).Simply put, it's the old time service you'd expect from a local friendly neighborhood technician who cares about his neighbors.
Jason and Shannon at Crowne Point H&C are fantastic! Our neighbor initially recommended Crowne Point H&C, and we’ve been using them for several years for general system maintenance. We had to call recently when our heat went out in the middle of the night (with temperatures in the teens) and Shannon quickly called to reassure us that Jason would be out first thing in the morning. It turned out the issue was electrical and not with the heating unit itself, but Jason was still incredibly helpful and even shared electrician recommendations. We’re so grateful to have these guys in our corner!
Update 12/16/2025 : I had Crown point come for my service again this year. I was happy to see them show up on time and perform a thorough job. I highly recommend this place for heating repair and maintenance. I will for sure be calling them again when I need help. Jason from Crown point drove over on short notice to help after 5 below temps froze a hydronic heating zone in my house. He quickly diagnosed the problem and reccomended least expensive thing to do....thats wait since there's a little flow and weather is warming up fast. It was fine the next day. All this was on a busy Saturday Jason didn't charge me full time and a half after hours rate or an hour since it was a quick stop. I understand gas and time are not free so Im happy to pay. Maintenance is now scheduled and I have piece of mind that if I have trouble they will help. I will 100 percent reccomend this contractor to friends and family.
Came out in under 2hrs of me calling them for my heating unit not working. Very friendly and professional. I'll be using them in the future for my annual cleanings and any future repairs needed.
