Cruz & Crew

Cruz & Crew is a Revere carpentry and cabinetry outfit run by Chandy Cruz, doing the kind of work that shows up one job at a time — framing, decks, custom cabinets, furniture assembly, stair work. Both reviews on Thumbtack are five stars and specific. In May 2025, a customer hired Cruz to assemble a bed and called the job "absolutely amazing," noting he held to the pre-arranged price even after it ran longer than expected. A few weeks earlier, another customer praised how upfront Cruz was about his credentials and experience, calling him punctual and reliable and recommending him for anything from a remodel to a full build. Thumbtack shows Chandy Cruz holding an active Massachusetts Construction Supervisor license, verified by Thumbtack through September 2026, and the business itself reports a Home Improvement Contractor registration on its profile — that second one is the company's own claim, not independently verified here. With only two reviews and a year on the platform, there isn't much of a track record yet, but what's there points one direction: a price that held even when the job ran long, and a customer who felt informed and reassured going in. For carpentry work — cabinets, framing, decks, furniture, stairs — a couple of reference calls would round out a thin but consistent early record.
