Panel upgrades, wiring and the small electrical jobs that pile up in an older house are what people hire Current Electric for. The company describes itself as an electrical contractor serving the Greater Burlington, Vermont area, and its stated service area runs from Burlington, Williston and South Burlington out to Stowe, Waterbury and Grand Isle. A recent Google reviewer who said they have used Bryan and Kendrick extensively for their own properties and projects wrote that they refer them freely and praised their relationships with local electrical inspectors. A 2026 Google customer said Kendrick and crew upgraded both panels from 100 to 200 amp service in a day, and that Kendrick helped troubleshoot and resolve a slight hiccup the following day. A 2025 customer wrote that a 200 amp service upgrade on their house required excavation for the new line and a lot of splicing, and said they were always open to questions. A 2023 Google customer described an electric vehicle charger install: Chad showed up on the scheduled day, made a run to Green Mountain Electric for more wire and picked up the ChargePoint charger at the same time. That 2023 customer added that Current Electric referred a sheet rock person for the holes, and that the next day they appeared with the Burlington Electric inspector. A 2022 Google customer said they wired a home office with 220, ran a new wire from the breaker, and added a sub panel, new outlets and a ceiling fan box. A 2026 HomeAdvisor customer said five ceiling fans were replaced on ten foot ceilings after a quote they called very reasonable, with the work done in about 5-6 hours. A 2023 HomeAdvisor customer wrote that the problem was a blown socket rather than a bad breaker, and that Brian worked in a cramped area to replace it. On r/burlington, a 2024 commenter said Kendrick ran lights and several circuits for mini splits and called him reasonably priced. Current Electric holds 5 stars from 18 Google ratings and 4.9 from 21 HomeAdvisor ratings.

“If you need an electrician, Kendrick at Current Electric did a great job for us.”
Bryan and Kendrick run a first class operation, and I recommend their services for a Burlington area electrician without hesitation. I have used them extensively for my own properties and projects, and refer them freely to my clients, knowing they will be treated fairly and with respect. The ultimate accolade is their outstanding relationships with local electrical inspectors...the folks that can't be fooled. Thank you for an oustanding job, every time.
I had 5 ceiling fans replaced on ten foot ceilings. Called Current and got a very reasonable quote. The guy from Current arrived on time and got right to work. Great guy and very professional. He did beautiful work, clean and organized and was done in about 5 -6 hours. They're perfect. This company is who I'm going to for all future electrical work.
Kendrick and crew upgraded both panels from 100 to 200 amp service in a day. There was a slight hiccup which wasn't their fault but Kendrick was able to help quickly troubleshoot and resolve it the following day.
Current Electric did a great job adding outlets and installing ceiling fans in our home. They were quick, affordable and efficient.
Love this crew! Ecstatic about the work, and the process. They were extremely helpful in completing my to do list!
