Curtiss Oil describes itself on its BBB profile as a company offering delivery of home heating oil, and its BBB grade is A+. A 2026 customer who ordered through cashforoil said the company called within a few hours and arrived Thursday morning with no issues. A 2026 customer said they put in a request Saturday and the company was there Monday morning. A 2024 customer said the company promised to arrive around noon, was there at 12:10pm, and the person who delivered the oil went over the invoice with them in detail. A 2024 customer who ordered through cash heating oil said the delivery came less than 24 hours after ordering. A 2026 customer said the company promised an on-time delivery, never showed up, and charged their credit card. A 2026 customer wrote that the driver arrived without giving an ETA, said a check should have been left on the tank, and drove off while the customer was two minutes away. A 2026 customer said the truck driver pulled up and drove off, and the company later said it was due to snow on the lawn, leaving them without oil for another two days. They failed to deliver oil and charged my credit card. I told them I was nearly out of oil and they promised to deliver it on time but they never showed up. Now I am on the brink of no heat or oil. Never again would I trust this company !
Was 5 minutes away from my house when the driver showed up randomly showed up. Never gave me an ETA and called my wife to say that no one was home. She let him know I was 2 minutes away. He said I shouldve left a check on the tank, hung up on my wife and drove off. Don't give these people your business
Ordered oil two days ago, today is the day they’re supposed to show up I saw the truck driver pull in front of my house and then drive off, claim it was due to snow on my lawn… never had this issue before. I called around 11am when I saw the truck they said no big deal he probably went to refuel the oil in the truck and is coming right back I said awesome cool (was not told anything about snow I would’ve just shoveled to make the driver feel better about ruining their work boots) I just called now at 4pm that it’s the end of the day and was told it’s due to snow… I do not recommend they’re not transparent at all and with not being transparent I’m stuck without oil for another 2 days. Do not waste time or money here… P.s I was told over the phone the truck driver is the owner and he’s the one behind this.
Place order for oil on cashforoil on Wednesday they called within a few hours gave him the information arrive Thursday morning no issues whatsoever very pleasant experience
Put in a request Saturday and they were here Monday morning. Very polite excellent service.
