D&T Hardwood Floors is a Portland hardwood flooring company whose website speaks to homes and offices in Lewiston, Bangor and Portland, ME. The company says it has been in business 15 years. A recent Angi customer says Mr. Vu offered to come out and quote a job small enough that the customer doubted it was worth their time, and that the work was done at the price quoted. A 2024 customer said D&T installed LVP the customer had picked out and supplied in one day, on the agreed schedule. A 2023 customer said that after major flooding, the company replaced the damaged wood flooring, then sanded and polished everything. A 2020 customer said the company finished an installation in their living room, kitchen and hallway in under a day. A 2019 customer said that when a new hardwood floor warped after one week, they came back and put in a second, brand new hardwood floor on top of the first. A 2018 customer said rot where the floor met a sliding door had destroyed the sub-floor plywood, and that Vu and his team had the area rebuilt in a few hours. A 2023 customer said the company restored bedroom hardwood floors that were almost 60 years old, but did not put a partly dismantled bifold closet door back together, and two phone calls and a text to Vu had not resolved it. A 2023 customer wrote that four months after the project started it was still not finished, and described trash, exposed nails and two destroyed door frames.
