A 2024 Google customer said the company, contracted with Home Depot, installed carpet in two rooms and praised its craftsmanship. A 2023 Google customer said Rick's installed their carpet through Home Depot and was set to install their vinyl flooring too, and called Stephanie in the office pleasant on the phone. A 2021 BuildZoom customer said two men from Rick's did a second carpet install through Home Depot after a first install with bad seam work, and praised their seaming. A 2026 Google customer said the company cancelled a bathroom flooring installation on the day of, after the customer had booked a plumber to take out the vanity and commode. In that 2026 review, the customer said the installer threw a fit over parking and called Stephanie Martell rude. A 2021 BuildZoom customer described a kitchen remodel through Home Depot in which the stove was left with no outlet and a cabinet covered a heating vent. That 2021 customer said Rick told them electrical work was not included on the invoice, and that Home Depot offered $1,000 toward a different electrician. A 2018 BuildZoom customer said a hardwood floor job was scheduled three times and cancelled, and that in the end the customer cancelled the job and found another installer.
Still poor communication between this company, Home Depot, and myself! However, Edison and Robert killed it today! I am so happy with their work! Gracias Amugo’s!!
One of the most unprofessional businesses I have dealt with. Stephanie Martell is rude and unprofessional. They cancelled a bathroom flooring installation on the day of, after I had already booked a plumber to take out my vanity and commode for the install at 8am. This was my third installation with them (all through Home Depot) and I had made it very clear for the first two that my HOA doesn't allow outside vehicles to be parked in the building. The car can be brought up right to the main door for convenience of any loading and unloading. There are two big parking lots right next to me and plenty of street parking as well, The first two installs were done in this manner. For my last installation (which was a smaller one) the installer arrived and threw a fit for parking and called Stephanie, who said rude and negative things about me on speaker phone with the installer. Then had a conversation with me and hung up the phone and cancelled my installation. Go here if you want to be treated like they are doing you a favor in spite of you paying them for a job. Home Depot and AC South (ACS) need to do better than hiring people like Rick's Vinyl & Carpet for their installations.
Wonderful experience. Our vinyl flooring project went very well and turned out even better than I could have imagined. Rick and his associate were on time, very professional, and worked efficiently. They also left behind no mess, and even helped me to move our refrigerator back into place. I can't believe the difference that my new flooring has made! It's completely improved our space! I'm already looking forward to working with this team again to update other flooring in the future!
These guys are contracted with Home depot. They came and installed carpet in two rooms. Their craftsmanship and professionalism were superb.
We had a great experience with carpet installation and customer service this year from Rick's (through Home Depot) and are thrilled that they'll be installing our vinyl flooring as well. Stephanie in the office is very pleasant on the phone! We couldn't have hoped for more. The business is local family owned. We found the installation team to be fast, friendly, and they provided top-quality workmanship as well.
