There are exactly two reviews of D&T Service anywhere, both written in September 2024, and both are about how the crew was to deal with rather than what they built. One customer called them friendly, professional and willing to work with you; the other said the work in their home came out well and that they had passed the name to family — something they added they don't often do. The company works out of 19 Winthrop Ave in Oak Bluffs, on Martha's Vineyard, and casts a wide net: carpentry, demolition, landscaping, remodeling and additions, siding, deck and porch repair, laminate and stone floor repair, even window cleaning. Its project galleries back some of that up — shingles, a shed cover, a window installation, a completed deck, stairs and a cabinet. That is genuinely all there is. Angi and HomeAdvisor show a 5.0, but it rests on those same two customers counted twice, and neither wrote about a specific job, a price, or a timeline. Ask for the references the company itself invites you to request, get the Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration number and insurance in writing, and go see a finished deck or stair set before committing.
