D M Home Improvements

D M Home Improvements is a one-man general contracting business in Bedford — Danny Missiti, who the company's site describes as its owner and construction supervisor, runs the jobs and brings subcontractors in under his own site management. The work it takes on runs across the house: interior renovations and general construction on one side, roofing, siding and gutters on the other. The company puts itself at 20 years in business, and the Better Business Bureau's profile dates it to 2005, lists one employee and Daniel Missiti as principal, and grades it A+. The right call for a homeowner who wants the same person planning the job, scheduling the trades and standing on the site every week, rather than a crew passed between managers. Before signing, ask to see his Massachusetts construction supervisor licence and home improvement contractor registration, find out which trades he subcontracts and which he does himself, and ask for two or three recent Bedford-area references you can call.
