Trust Contractors Inc runs out of Bedford and takes on the jobs homeowners put off until they can't anymore — a roof that finally gave out after an ice dam, a deck nobody trusts stepping onto. The company says it's done general contracting across Greater Boston since 2003, and reviewers don't call it "Trust," they call the owner by his first name: Jean. The last six months read cleanly. In June, a homeowner had Jean's crew rebuild a deck that had fallen into disrepair — new railings, a new staircase, replaced support posts — and called the price reasonable. In April, a client whose house had taken on water through ice dams and then a storm needed a full roof replacement plus repairs to water damage in the living room and bedroom; the job covered shingle roofing up front and rubber roofing on the rear dormer. In March, another reviewer described a full basement renovation alongside rubber roof work finished on schedule with steady communication. Five reviews landed in that stretch, all five stars, none negative. That holds up against the wider Google page — 4.9 stars from 35 ratings — and the same pattern goes back to 2023. Its Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor license (191136) checks out as active with the state. One thing worth flagging: most of that star average sits on a Google page where only a handful of the 35 ratings come with written detail, and the same few stories — the deck, the roof, the basement — get echoed on other sites rather than adding new independent accounts. Not a red flag, just a reminder the pool of specifics is smaller than the star count implies. Trust reads as a contractor built around exterior and structural work — roofs, decks, storm and water damage repair — plus the renovation jobs that come with owning a house long enough, like basement remodels. If you're dealing with ice-dam or storm damage, a tired deck, or a basement that needs finishing, the recent track record backs them up. Worth asking how a quote breaks down between materials and labor, since none of the reviews get past one mention of the price being reasonable.

I highly recommend Trust Contractors for deck repair, or any other general contracting needs. They recently rebuilt my deck that had fallen into disrepair. Even though my deck was not large, the work was quite involved as they had to replace all the railings, a staircase, and multiple support posts. The quality of the work was outstanding, and the price was very reasonable. Jean kept me informed throughout the entire project and gave excellent recommendations to improve the structural integrity of the deck. It was quite clear that they take pride in the quality of their work. It was a pleasure doing business with Trust Contractors and will certainly reach out to them for any future renovations.

We hired Trust Contractors after finding them online when we needed help repairing damage from ice dams and later storm damage. Water had leaked into multiple areas of our home, and it became clear that a full roof replacement was necessary in addition to repair due to water damage in the living room and bedroom. Jean came out quickly to give an estimate and took the time to understand our situation and concerns. The project included shingle roofing on the front of the house and rubber roofing on the rear dormer in addition to repairs from water damage in the living room and bedroom. Jean was great to work with—responsive, patient, and very professional throughout the entire process. He even suggested additional lighting, which we’re very glad we went with. Pricing was fair, communication was consistent, and he made sure everything met our expectations before considering the job finished. I noticed a few items that we’ve pushed off over the years and asked Jean if he could take care of them (problems with electrical outlets in one of the bedrooms, loose banister, light touch-up in other areas outside of scope, and new floodlights outside). Jean was happy to help address them as well without having to modify the estimated cost. Having worked with other contractors, I was impressed with his commitment to satisfaction. Overall, it was a very positive experience and we’re very pleased with the quality of work. His team did an outstanding job. We love how our living room turned out. I’d definitely recommend Trust Contractors.

5/5 Stars – Exceptional Quality and Professionalism I’ve had the pleasure of working with Trust Contractors across several projects, including a full basement renovation, rubber roof replacements, and urgent structural rebuild work. In every case, they delivered outstanding results. What distinguishes Trust Contractors is not just the quality of their craftsmanship, but the consistency of their execution and professionalism. They completed each project on time, maintained clear communication throughout, and demonstrated a high level of technical expertise across a wide range of disciplines. During my basement renovation, we encountered delays from a third-party supplier that could have significantly impacted progress. Jean and his team handled the situation with flexibility and professionalism, adapting seamlessly while keeping the overall project on track. They operate as true partners, offering thoughtful guidance, proactively identifying risks, and ensuring alignment before moving forward. Just as importantly, as their name suggests, they are in fact highly trustworthy. I was completely comfortable having them work in my home in my absence, which speaks volumes about their character and integrity. While not the lowest-cost option, they provide exceptional value through reliability, quality, and peace of mind, which is extremely hard to find these days. Special recognition to Alex for his dedication and attention to detail. I would not hesitate to recommend Trust Contractors and look forward to working with them again.
