A sagging deck overhang, a house addition, and beadboard trim are among the jobs DaCosta Builder customers have described. The Sterling general contractor says it has served its area since 2015 and offers residential construction and remodeling, including new homes, additions, garages, kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and attics. In a July 2025 Thumbtack review, a customer said DaCosta reinforced a badly sagging deck overhang. Other builders had proposed replacement, while this customer wanted reinforcement; the reviewer said the work was done quickly and at a fair price. A June 2025 customer separately praised an all-inclusive quote rather than hourly billing and said the work finished within the stated time frame. A September 2025 reviewer was still in the planning stages and praised help obtaining HOA documents. The carpentry work has included both structural repairs and interior finish work. A July 2024 customer said the team installed drywall, prepared a cabinet for a dishwasher, and repaired a support beam. In January 2024, a repeat customer described beadboard on hallway walls and moldings around kitchen sliding doors, praising the attention to small details. A customer writing in April 2024 said their house addition stayed on schedule and praised Klistenes’s communication. Larger interior work appears in an August 2022 customer account. The reviewer said separate teams refinished downstairs hardwood floors, replaced carpeting on the stairs and upstairs with hardwood, and repainted the home’s interior. They also said Klistenes responded quickly to messages and calls, visited on a Sunday within 24 hours of their initial conversation, and remained available for questions during and after the work. In a May 2024 review, another customer described a return visit to repair a ceiling and a leak in a rubber roof after water damage had recurred. One April 2022 customer reported a missed appointment to meet and obtain a quote, with no call beforehand. They said they had to call afterward and intended to find someone else for the job. Separately, DaCosta Builder General Contractor Inc’s Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 204724, was expired when checked against the state registry in August 2026.
