Rodolfo shows up in review after review by name — and so do Jose and Rudy. Across 123 ratings averaging 4.9 on Angi and its HomeAdvisor twin, the crew is named, the jobs are described down to the coat count, and several customers are on their second, third or fourth hire. That is what a real, earned five-star record looks like. The company is family-run out of Wilmington and says it has served the Boston area since 1999. Painting is the spine of it, but the written jobs go well past a roller: ceilings taken down after a roof leak and re-sheetrocked, walls skim-coated, wallpaper stripped, crown molding and trim, plaster repair, pressure washing and wood preservation. The specifics are worth reading. A 2018 customer described about 100 linear feet of 12-foot walls painted three coats in a single day, starting at 8am as promised. Another, writing in 2017, walked through an 11-day plaster job across two bedrooms — plastic dust barriers up each day, furniture moved and beds reassembled at the end, a bathroom painted at no charge outside the contract, and a cleaning company hired by Rodolfo to finish. A 2017 reviewer whose ceiling had been flooded by an air-conditioning unit got three coats of oil-based sealer and two of ceiling paint, done in five hours. Two things to weigh. First, the record is old: every retrievable review runs from August 2017 to December 2018, so nothing here describes how the company works today, and that alone should pull your confidence down a notch. Second, the one critical account is instructive on both sides — in July 2018 a customer said parts of the walls and trim looked like one thin coat over white primer and that she fixed it herself, while allowing that Rodolfo would probably have come back if asked; the company's public reply to her was sharp, saying it would not do business with "this type of people." A separate 2018 customer described exactly the opposite handling: a missed spot he flagged that night, and Rodolfo back a couple of days later to fix it without argument. Good fit for interior painting with real plaster and drywall repair behind it, where the prep matters more than the paint. Ask for a written scope that specifies the number of coats, walk the job with him before final payment, and ask for two references from the last year or two, since the public writing stops in 2018.

Daddy and Junior Paint is the best around! I have used them on several large and small jobs. They are the only company I call when I need work done. Rodolfo always returns my calls, shows up on time and completes a project on time or early. Every time I have used Rodolfo's services he has gone above and beyond for me. Rodolfo is also very personable and makes you feel comfortable around him and his employees. In our most recent project he drywalled three rooms which included all the walls and ceilings. Removed wallpaper and then skim coated walls. Rodolfo's finishing work with the trim was beautiful! When it came to color suggestion he walked me through the process of picking the perfect color. I will be using Daddy and Junior Paint for years to come.

Amazing! This is the second time I've used Daddy & Junior Paint and I am once again happy. The first project he did for me was a small job. Some ceiling repair and painting and I was very happy with the work he did so reached out to him for a much bigger project. Roldolfo removed a ceiling that had been ruined by a leaky roof and took the paneling off of the walls in a large space (approximately 700 SF). He then resheetrocked everything, mudded, painted and did the trim and crown molding. It came out beautiful. The space looks so much better than it did before. Much cleaner and the space actually looks bigger! Very happy and will gladly hire again for future projects.

we hired Daddy and junior the third time. this time to finish our sunroom renovation. the job was done excellent again. there was a lot of details needed for the work as we had exposed beams in the ceiling and they did a great job. i will definitely hire them again for my next renovation job.

The work done was exactly what we wanted and very very good. The crew was professional, and clean. They moved the furniture covered everything and then put everything back once complete. It was above and beyond what we were hoping for. I would hire them again and would refer them to anyone looking for a painter. Vinny - Reading, MA
