Dalene Flooring Carpet One is a flooring company whose website lists stores in South Windsor, Manchester, Southington, West Hartford, Torrington and Enfield, and it says it has been in business for 77 years. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0507458, is active on the state registry under the name Dalene Flooring Carpet One. One recent customer came to Dalene on a competitor's recommendation after a bad experience there. Salesperson John Kangas helped that customer find a floor for a bathroom; the store said the floor would take about two weeks to arrive, and it came in two weeks. A 2025 customer said they were even offered websites to explore before committing to a purchase. A 2024 customer said Tyler, at the Hazard Ave. store, showed several samples, let them take a few home, and visited the house to see how the old flooring could be removed before a plan and quote were set. That 2024 customer said the two gentlemen who came met a special flooring problem and kept the process clean and neat. In 2024, a commenter in r/Connecticut recommended Dalene flooring for fair prices and quality installations.
“Dalene flooring. Great company to work with, fair prices, and quality installations.”
I was so impressed with Dalenes. We had a horrible experience at a competitors business and the irony is that they actually recommended Dalenes to us. The showroom is well organized and very bright and open. You are greeted upon entering and we felt that the staff was very attentive. Our salesperson John Kangas was so helpful and friendly. He was very knowledgeable and helped us to find the right floor for our bathroom. We were told it would take about two weeks for the floor to arrive and in two weeks time we had our floor. Again, their competitor promised the same thing and after a month of hearing different excuses, our floor never came in. I strongly recommend Dalenes!
Wouldn’t go anywhere else for my flooring. Excellent quality, such friendly staff.
Excellent service, helpful and patient service. Even offered to show websites for us to explore before we committed to a purchase.
From the time we entered Darlene Flooring on Hazard Ave. and met Tyler , it was game on. We discussed our needs aand Tyler showed us several samples. We took a few home to try. Tyler visited our home to see our special needs and how the old flooding could be removed. A plan was set and a quote given. The two gentlemen who came were true experts in flooring. They did an absolutely perfect job and were able to meet our special flooring problem. Also very clean and neat process. We could not be more pleased with the entire experience. Perfection! Thank you Tyler and installation crew. I highly recommend this company. Judy M.
