A 2025 customer of Dan Eaton Landscape Service said Dan put in their paver walkway 11 years earlier and did a beautiful job, and that nine years after that the walkway needed new edging and some sand filled in between the pavers. That 2025 customer said the worker who came for the repair poured sand on the paver joints without brushing it into the cracks or wetting it to set, and left piles of sand on the walkway. The same 2025 customer said the new edging was not set against the pavers and was made of many small pieces, which started lifting after a couple of months; at the time of the review, the pieces had lifted 2 or 3 inches. The 2025 customer said Dan would not come out to check his helper's work when they called to complain, and that after paying $1600 they had the same problem and would need the walkway repaired again.
Dan initionally put our walkway in 11 years ago and did a beautiful job. 9 years later, it needed to have the edging replaced and some sand filled in between the pavers. Terrible job! The guy poured sand on the paver joints and never brushed the sands in the cracks and also didn't wet it to set the sand. He just left piled of sand on my walkway. He also replaced edging but didn't put it against the pavers and used many small pieces. Rather than longer pieces. Consequently causing the pieces to lift up after a couple of months. Right now. They've lifted a good 2 or 3 inches. I called to complain but Dan wouldn't even come out and check his helpers work, just stating the guy had worked for him for a long time. $1600 later, I have the same problem and will have to get it repaired again. He took my money but wouldn't fix the issue. I would never recommend them. Shoddy work.
