Treeworks says on its website that it offers a full tree service, including removal and management, and that it has been in business 25 years. The coastalmountains.org site has described it as a local arborist company. On Google it holds 3.3 stars from 14 ratings. A 2026 customer said they had been a customer for several years and found the company prompt and friendly. A 2023 customer wrote that they had a lot of help from Treeworks on landscaping and loads of other stuff and were happy with all the work. A 2024 reviewer said the project was never finished and that over $1800 in material they paid for was kept. A 2024 customer said someone promised to come out to give an estimate, then never showed up, and the customer never heard back. A 2024 reviewer found the company good on a fast estimate but not so quick to respond. A 2023 customer wrote that after close to a year of trying to get their trees inoculated, an over $500 deposit had produced no service, and they had not heard back about getting it returned. A 2022 customer said they paid $1750 to have oak trees sprayed and injected, then called, texted and emailed multiple times with no indication of when the trees would be treated.

I'm writing because I was surprised to see the negative reviews for this company. I have been a customer of this company for several years now and have found them to be prompt and friendly. I would recommend them without any reservation.
Never finished the project, kept over 1800$ in material we paid for, avoid at all cost, many many phones calls ,"shane will call you back", never did.
Not so quick to respond. Good on a fast estimate. Problably need a high-end project cost to engage. Possibly dealing with employment issues. Still worth a call.
The review is for lack of communication or follow through. Called multiple times and left messages, finally spoke with someone and said they would be out to give an estimate. Never showed up or heard back!
Never use this service. I have been trying for close to a year to get them to innoculate my trees. First it was last August they were going to do it, then September, then ran out of product, product was backordered, would do it in the spring and I would be given priority service. Emails and phone calls later, plus my over $500 deposit have produced no service. I have requested my deposit be returned, but surprise, surprise, I have not heard from them on that issue either. Terrible, terrible service. I put in one star, but they don't even deserve that, it was the only way this site would accept the review.
