Dan the Tree Man takes on the big, awkward trees: a 2024 customer said Dan swung a 40' length of tree up and over the house while the crane and bucket truck worked in a synchronized way. The company says on its website that it has over 30 years of experience serving Southern New Hampshire with tree services, and it lists a service area running from Derry and Londonderry to Salem, Pelham and Hudson. On Google it holds 5 stars from 63 ratings. A recent customer who had tree work done said that when they asked to keep the wood, it was cut up and stacked neatly in piles. A recent customer said the crew worked consistently and left the place nice and clean. A recent reviewer who had not yet used the services wrote that all questions were answered and the quote took 10 minutes. In a 2025 review, a customer said 7 large trees that were in danger of falling near the home were removed, and that Dan kept the septic system in mind. A 2025 customer using the company for the 3rd time said huge logs were lifted around a fence and wires in a really difficult tight space. A 2024 customer said Dan and his crew took down a huge pine and a dead tree that were in hard to reach locations due to powerlines and other trees. A 2022 customer who used Dan's day rate pricing said 7 huge pines came down on the first day, in 70% humidity and thunderstorms. A 2021 customer said the stumps were cut flush with the ground. A 2021 reviewer, a commercial property manager, recommended going for the daily rate with the crane if you have a decent amount of trees to remove.
