Daniel Brisson Woodworking presents Daniel Brisson’s custom furniture, built-ins, cabinetry, and millwork work in the Boston area. The official portfolio site is spare, while Houzz identifies the Malden business as Daniel Brisson Design, with six projects, a listed phone and website, and a Boston Metropolitan service area. The dated Houzz record is consistently positive: four displayed reviews from April–May 2014 are five-star accounts of custom closet doors, built-in shelving, a matching television cabinet, storage, crown molding, and a window bench. Reviewers describe attentive consultation, careful measurement, prompt communication, tidy installation, and work that matched existing homes. One Boston homeowner said the work transformed a townhouse, while another praised the completed cabinet’s fit and finish. The available reviews are from 2014, so they document an earlier body of work rather than current scheduling or present-day capacity. The Houzz profile lists a Malden address, a woodworking licence claim, one Houzz Award, and custom furniture and cabinetry as its service. Prospective clients should confirm that the business is still accepting projects, verify the current contact details, and ask for recent examples before booking. This looks like a focused choice for custom built-ins, cabinetry, and furniture where matching an existing interior and careful installation matter. Confirm the design process, materials, lead time, and scope for the specific project.
I hired Daniel Brisson Design to come to design and build custom closet doors for my mid-century ranch. Throughout the entire process Dan was extremely attentive. He understood that we wanted to stay within the house's limitations, but also provide some much needed functionality. After a short consultation, he quickly measured the three openings, and gave us some amazing options right on the spot. We painlessly went through the options and decided on a course of action. One thing I am complete stickler about is punctuality. There countless instances were I have had to wait for a contractor who was then late. Or never showed. This is not the case with Mr. Brisson. It was clear that he intended to give us his undivided attention. That is what we got. He said, "I will be here for a test fit on Tuesday at 9am and the doors will be completed, painted, and installed at 9am the following tuesday". He did exactly that. No excuses needed, no hassle in the interim, and the end product was exquisite. He has a excellent eye... Not to mention he is extremely tidy and does not leave any evidence he was ever there. Huge in my book.... A rare talent. I am already making up the another project for him. Don't hesitate to call Dan.
Daniel constructed built-in shelving & storage for my condo in addition to constructing wood shelving/work surface which were attached to metal pillars. He took my design ideas, clarified what I needed, and completed the project based on his time estimates.

I moved into a townhouse in downtown Boston, and Daniel's work completely transformed my space. He provided shelves and cabinets for much-needed storage, as well as crown molding and a large window bench. It is now impossible to imagine my home without these. I am so pleased with both the quality of the work, and with the ways he was able to integrate his design into our 1800s home to make it look like it had always been there. Installation was always very efficient, and even very large projects were finished with limited interruption to my schedule.
We had a built in cabinet that stored a 56 inch tv. Before we removed it we needed to have a custom cabinet made to match the existing cabinets. We located Daniel on line. He promptly returned our phone call, scheduled an in home appointment. He was courteous and knowledgable. He gave us drawings, matched the doors and color to perfection. End result- total custom piece that looks like it has always been there! The turn around time was within a few weeks, he was meticulous in his installation. I strongly would recommend his services.
