Dave the Plumber is a small Dennis Port plumbing outfit that Cape homeowners call when something has already gone wrong — a pipe burst, a water heater dead, an outdoor shower leaking the week the tenants arrive. Dave McCrossin runs it with his son Jake, and Massachusetts registry records show plumber licence 4789-PL-C active in the business's own name. The review record is unusually consistent about one thing: he answers the phone himself and he turns up. Reviewers across 2024 and 2025 describe calls answered at 7am, at 8pm, at 10:30 at night, on Sundays and on the Saturday of a holiday weekend, followed by arrival within the hour or first thing the next morning. In a June 2025 review a homeowner without water after a burst pipe wrote that he arrived in under an hour and had the water running again in 45 minutes; in a December 2024 review another described six inches of water in the house, a pipe fixed inside 30 minutes and a replacement hot water tank installed by 11am the next morning.
