Davis Tree Service

Large trees close to houses, overhead wires and careful yard cleanup feature in customers’ accounts of Davis Tree Service. The company says it serves Manchester and surrounding areas with tree removal, pruning, stump grinding, emergency removal, crane service and bucket-truck work. Google lists a 4.8-star average from 50 ratings. Recent customers describe Nathan working with his sons and other crew members. A July 2026 reviewer praised their communication and cleanup on a multiple-tree removal project, while noting that getting scheduled took longer than hoped. In June, another customer described removal of a tall pine near a planned building site, pruning, dead-tree removal and removal of a dangerous snag high in another tree. That customer said the crew cleaned the yard afterward. An April reviewer described two trees removed and another pruned in four hours. Explaining the work and discussing costs also receive specific praise. A July reviewer said the company answered questions, explained the process and completed the work safely, without making the customer feel pressured. A May customer said the crew worked with their budget and cleaned up after the job. In an August 2025 review, a customer in Bow, New Hampshire, described Nate discussing which trees concerned him, explaining other options and their prices, and avoiding pressure to expand the job. The customer said the crew removed trees, cut logs for firewood and cleaned the property. Older accounts describe measures to protect the property during large removals. A May 2024 reviewer described a several-day project that began with 25 trees and expanded after further discussions with Nathan. They said the crew laid ground-protection pads for heavy equipment and cleaned up afterward. In November 2025, another customer reported that the crew protected the yard with pads, cut the removed trees into firewood lengths and stacked the wood. Scheduling can require patience: an August 2026 reviewer also warned of a wait because the company was busy. There are negative ratings too. An April 2026 reviewer called it a ‘Terrible local business,’ and a July 2024 reviewer described an ‘Awful job.’
