DBS Design Center

We ordered our cabinets the second week in August 2025. Our kitchen wasn’t completed until April 2026. Our “designer” made one excuse after another. Awful experience but that was the designers fault. The actual contractor(s) who did our project were excellent and professional. One person (who was the in charge) ruined our thoughts on DBS and we are not likely to use their services in the future.

We used Chrissy at DBS and she was amazing! She came and field measured everything to a T. She made great suggestions on how we could better improve our kitchen layout, and she has a great eye for color, hardware, granite colors, and more! I highly recommend!

DBS brought my vision to life and was a pleasure to work with. We own a two family and you could never tell by walking into this kitchen. The layout was a bit odd to work with at first but they were able to give me everything I dreamed about for my space! We ran into a hiccup where the crown moulding wouldn’t fit correctly due to the uneven ceiling but DBS immediately corrected the issue and refunded us without the headache. Had you went with another company you would have taken the loss. I am so in love with this kitchen and extremely satisfied with this company. When we renovate second floor I will absolutely be using them in the future.

We cannot rave enough about Jen Botelho who helped us pick cabinets and countertop for our new bathroom! Jen showed us a variety of cabinets and never lost patience dealing with my hard to please spouse. She helped us to stick pretty close to our budget and yet what we selected with her help will be beautiful.We learned a lot from Jen about the different quality of the items and I know we will be thrilled when the bathroom construction is finished! Jen is a tremendous asset to your company.

DBS was one of the design centers that my builder works with. I enjoyed the interactions and loved the designs. However, there were so many mistakes when the cabinets were ordered. I corrected the designer on many occasions when she misspoke about the cabinet color. She ordered Dover White instead of White Dove even though I had to correct her. These are 2 very different colors as Dover White has significant yellow undertones. So even though I corrected her she never made the changes on the final order. There were numerous other mistakes including not considering that I ordered 2 separate wall ovens (later was told it should have been custom). The cabinets in my laundry room did not reach the right side of the wall (9 inches short - should have order 30 inch instead of 27 inch), and there was a secondary cabinet that did not fit the space. The changes with the countertops did not make it to the fabricator, either, but I was able to correct them during the on site measurements. In addition, the island counter should have a 12 inch overhang but it is only 10 inches. I can say that DBS did reimburse me an amount that we agreed to but it still bothers me every time I look at my kitchen. So disappointed. I strongly recommend going over your final order with a fine tooth comb and do not trust the designer to get it right (no matter who you work with). You can never get reimbursed enough to make up for not realizing your dream.
