DEKORE WALLPAPER

One homeowner thought about papering a room for a while, bought the rolls, spent several hours reading up on how to hang it, then cut the first piece and held it against walls they describe as "less than straight." Their April 2026 review opens: "Highly recommend Dekore Wallpapers!" Dekore Wallpaper is a wallpaper installation specialist based in Everett, working with homeowners and interior designers around Greater Boston and Cape Cod, according to its own site. The company says founder Bernardo built it out of a single wallpaper project. What customers describe is small, tricky work done fast. A Thumbtack customer who collected a few estimates for a stairway in August 2026 said Dekore gave the best price, came out the next business day and finished the job in a couple of hours; another had a small, tricky installation on the calendar within a couple of days. A Google reviewer that month got same-day service at what they called a reasonable price. The rooms that come up are the small ones: a half bath in August 2026, a daughter's nursery in April. Meticulous is the word three reviewers reach for. It isn't only homeowners calling, either — a painting contractor wrote in January 2026 that Dekore had handled wallpaper for their clients, and another reviewer that month said they had been working with the company for two years. Google carries 5 stars from 24 ratings, Thumbtack 4.9 from 140, and the Thumbtack profile shows 500 projects. Scheduling runs through Amanda, who an August 2026 Thumbtack customer credited with sorting out how much paper to order — that is the conversation to have early, since the rolls may be yours to buy. The Thumbtack profile also lists wallpaper removal and exterior painting alongside installation, and a July 2026 reviewer, on their second job with the same installer, said they would use him for painting as well. If you have chosen a paper and need it hung cleanly on imperfect walls — a stairway, a powder room, a nursery — this is a straightforward call. Confirm who measures and supplies the paper, and ask about removal if the old covering is still on the wall.
