Fourteen of the twenty-six written reviews for Delio Corp say a version of the same thing: he showed up when he said he would, sometimes earlier. A 2008 customer with a commercial site wrote that he promised thirty minutes and arrived ten minutes early; in a June 2012 review, a homeowner said he came by ahead of schedule because he knew rain was coming. The "he" is Rino, the owner, named again and again in the reviews for this Newtonville handyman, carpentry and masonry company. The company says it has served the community since 1991 and describes itself as fully insured. HomeAdvisor lists a Massachusetts trade licence, CS-072310, for it, and the same listing draws one line worth knowing up front: residential and commercial for the general work, commercial only for snow plowing. The written history runs from 2008 to February 2026 and is mostly small and mid-sized property work — carpentry framing and deck repair, brick and stone patios, walks and steps, retaining walls, minor grading, drywells. In a 2014 review, a homeowner having a drywell rebuilt said he came over the next day, knew exactly what the issue was, and spent a couple of hours on the job. A 2011 customer wrote that the final cost was the quote he had given. A 2015 customer called his work meticulous. The newest account, from February 2026, comes from a business whose snowbanks he and his crew removed: prompt, friendly and professional, in their words. Two of the lower-scored jobs turn on expectations rather than workmanship. A $1,600 grading and resloping job in June 2018 took longer than the customer expected, though they called the work decent; a December 2017 customer said the job was not exactly as expected, while describing the technician as polite. The sharper note is older and about money: in a May 2012 review, a customer said a neighbor overheard the worker on the phone saying he was charging over price for materials and making a killing — the work itself they described as done well. A December 2015 customer found the price a little higher than planned but put that down to extras they had added. On Google the reading is different, and much thinner: 3 stars across four ratings, against HomeAdvisor's 4.5 from 33. For a punch list — a deck or porch repair, a patio or walkway, a retaining wall, a day of handyman work — this is an owner-run outfit with eighteen years of written jobs behind it and a long habit of arriving on time. Get materials itemised in writing before anyone starts, agree a finish date for anything beyond a day's work, and if it's a driveway you need plowed, ask first: the listing says plowing is commercial only.
Commercial Snow Removal Service. We couldn't have been happier with the job Rino and his crew did removing the numerous snowbanks from our premises. They were prompt, friendly and professional, and did an excellent job!

Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Delio Corp Contractor. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
A day rate replaces the task list — usually the better deal once the list gets long.
