We worked with Mary Kay on our kitchen renovation, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations! Our old kitchen was outdated and had a poor layout. Mary Kay came recommended from friends. She listened to our concerns, worked within our budget and provided suggestions to help us fully utilize the space in our home. It was immediately clear that Mary Kay had the knowledge and ability to not only redesign our kitchen creating an updated, more open and functional space, but to manage the renovation project from start to finish.. She suggested knocking down a non-load-bearing wall to create an incredible open kitchen layout that we hadn't even considered. Throughout the project, her communication was fantastic. The contractors she worked were on time, professional and highly skilled. Mary Kay was here when contractors arrived to check on the project and ensure that all was going as planned. She worked with the contractors to ensure that the project moved as planned and she kept us informed of what and who would be working each day. She worked closely with us to select high-quality cabinets, countertops, special oak shelves, tile, pulls and knobs. She helped to ensure the entire project was stress-free and with-in the planned budget. The final result is a beautiful, classic incredibly functional kitchen that is now the centerpiece of our home. We couldn't be happier and wholeheartedly recommend Mary Kay at Designs by Kate to anyone looking for an exceptional kitchen design and renovation!

We had our basement finished by Mary Kay. It was one of the best decisions we made for our family. It has now become A favorite spot in our home. Mary Kay is so efficient, she has an amazing eye and will get your space to someplace you didn’t think was possible. This is my second time working with her, the first was my kitchen. She has transformed my home and I couldn’t be happier. I would use her over and over, in fact I have!
