Diorio Flooring is a hardwood specialist with the kind of review pile most flooring outfits never build — north of 130 ratings surfaced on Birdeye at 4.9, matched by 121 on Porch at 4.94 and roughly 116 on Ecohome near a clean 5.0. Founded by Mike Diorio, the company works hardwood from every angle: sanding, staining, refinishing, board repairs, and new installs in hardwood, engineered, and laminate — plus tile, bamboo, and even commercial gym floors. It runs out of two bases, Nashua, New Hampshire and Plymouth, Massachusetts, and the owner's own name comes up again and again in the reviews — customers tend to deal directly with Mike. The write-ups that recur describe the same arc: quick to respond, patient through finish and stain decisions, and floors that land better than the homeowner pictured. Refinishing is the through-line, though the range extends to full tile jobs with subfloor work. Two things are worth pinning down. First, coverage: this is fundamentally a southern-New-Hampshire operation whose stated Massachusetts reach is narrower — Plymouth and Dunstable — so confirm they actually service your town before counting on them. Second, the company's own tenure numbers don't line up: the site pairs a 2005 founding and 21 years in business with a claim of 40-plus years of experience, and a Porch listing says 26 — likely the owner's years in the trade versus the company's age, but worth asking about. For sanding and refinishing tired hardwood, or a fresh install where the finish has to be right, Diorio has one of the deeper, more consistent reputations among the flooring shops here — just verify the service area and get the scope and finish in writing before booking.

Mike did an awesome job on our floors! We had just purchased a new home and wanted the hardwood floors refinished before moving in. Mike was quick to respond to my inquiry, fit us into his schedule, and most of all our floors turned beautifully. He provided samples and helped me decide on the finish. Our floors turned even better than what I had envisioned. We highly recommend Mike Diorio!

Diorio flooring refinished our entire 1st floor of wide plank pine floors. Mike worked with us as we tried to make several decisions (stain vs. No stain, type of finish), and was able to accommodate our last minute decision to go with Waterlox sealer and finish. The finished product is gorgeous. Everyone who comes into our home comments on the beauty of the floors.<br>We'll definitely use Diorio Flooring again and highly recommend them.
